Sonnet II

All the sweet things that come to mind.
Your smiling face and your gentle touch.
All good things do come in time.
The likes of you for which I long so much.
If I were a prince you would be my princess.
Then a gallant steed I would ride to your door.
For the need to hold you in my arms to caress.
And to hold you in my heart forevermore.
Time is pain when you are not here.
Patience is mine endless weeks I bear.
Distance is a factor I do not fear.
Believe is my word as our love will be there.
If I were king what I'd want most in my life
Is to have you my queen, and above all, my wife.
