Make Me Smile

                     The words within a sentence
can be read in many ways.
                     Some have deep-seeded meanings
and many feeling they may portray.
Friends often become depressed. "Make me smile", they sometimes ask. Then I try to write them a poem that contains that happy mask.
Can you picture a little child playing by himself in a park? Laughing and playing without troubles that can haunt him in the dark.
You think of how innocent that child is and how wonderful that it might be, if you could become a child once more without any worries, without anxieties.
So "Make me smile, oh won't you please?" "Just make me smile this one last time." But it's hard to give that happy mask when it's I who need those happy lines.
