All Alone
I was sitting and waiting there in anticipation
waiting for you to return to me, all alone.
Into my arms you would rush to me, a longing embrace
so that you and I would be as one, all alone.
You rushed through the door without a "hello"
saying you have to get away, all alone.
You say you need to think things out about us,
as you pack your bags and leave, all alone.
You check in at the airport, pass through the bording gate.
You take flight (from me) as you fly across country, all alone,
into another man's waiting ams, you are gone for good...
I sit there brokenhearted, dumbfounded in bewilderment, all alone.
